Aug. 18th Highland's Inn

Not a lot of women at the Inn, but we really enjoyed those we met, and will hopefully meet up with several of them again in our lifetiime, especially if they take us up on our offer to come to CA.  We are hoping to meet up with someone named Francine in Montreal.

Didn't take many photos of the Inn and wish we had taken pictures of breakfast and people.  Everyone was EXTREMELY friendly and welcoming.  Really warm and wonderful atmosphere.  Grace and Maria, the owners make you feel like you are their only guests and give directions and advice like it's all new to them.
I regret so much that I didn't get my camera out to take pictures of people, especially Maria and Grace.

The job was easy.  We set out our list and people made requests from our lists, plus I played Bugler's Holiday and we did Miss. Squirrel Revival, of course.  Requests were Beatles, Anne Murray, Carpenters
Elton John, and odds and ends.  Everyone loved singing along, so we ended up turning our computer around and letting people see words and ended the night more like a karaoke night than us entertaining.

I forgot to sing "That's Why the Lady is a Champ".  We always forget to sing it because it isn't on a list.
We'll have to get it on a list so we remember to sing it at future jobs.  I think it'd be well received.
