wilwoo: Sandra and Barbara have been traveling together for 23 years. Much of their travel has been to places where they also entertain. Entertaining on a cruise ship was the highlight of getting paid to travel. This summer they traveled in hot, hot August because that was the only stretch of time they had between jobs and Don fortunately planned his big party for when we could be there to visit Phyllis and Chuck. S and B took golf clubs but ended up using their time to hike, kayak, bicycle or head to their next destination. Barbara was thrilled with the idea of taking her bicycle and Sandra even encouraged her to take it. Barbara bicycled in most states--through covered bridges, in state and national parks, or on back roads on the way to their next destination. Sometimes it was too hot though. They could tell the temp by the gauge in their Prius. Temps ranged from 130 in Laughlin to 43 Jasper.
